As MFT’s 10th season draws to a close, we’re delighted to welcome a visiting company from Calgary as they bring their interactive musical dinner theatre comedy Northern Nights: a comedy country musical to our stage.
Step back into a rowdy 1800s saloon where the whiskey flows, the boots are dusty, and the night’s entertainment takes a delightfully unexpected turn. Filled with the music of country legends like Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, and Shania Twain, this high‑spirited show follows the return of Shania McQueen — the Wild Rose of the West — as she prepares to perform for her hometown crowd. With colourful locals, a newcomer from across the pond, and a deputy doing his best to keep order, the evening unfolds into a classic “whodunnit” full of laughter, music, and mystery.
