See How They Run Promo
Poster for Mini Fridge Theatre Company's 2022 live dinner theatre production of Philip King's See How They Run in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

"Breathless show, fast tempo, plenty of laughs."
— Variety

So swift is the action, so involved the situations, so rib-tickling the plot in this London hit that at its finish audiences are left as exhausted from laughter as though they had run a foot race. Galloping in and out of the four doors of an English vicarage are an American actor and actress (he is now stationed with the Air Force in England), a cockney maid who has seen too many American movies, an old maid who "touches alcohol for the first time in her life," four men in clergyman suits presenting the problem of which is which (for disguised as one is an escaped prisoner), and a sedate Bishop aghast at all these goings-on and the trumped up stories they tell him.

Presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com

ACT II

A few seconds later.

Meet the cast & crew

Headshot of actor Brookelynn Allan from Saskatoon's dinner theatre Mini Fridge Theatre Company

Brookelynn Allan

"Penelope Toop"

Brookelynn is very excited to be on stage for her second performance with Mini Fridge Theatre Company. The last time Brookelynn performed with Mini Fridge was as Catherine in The Foreigner.

She also tried out stage managing and was the stage manager for last season’s Don't Dress for Dinner.

Headshot of actor Parker Lavoie from Saskatoon's dinner theatre Mini Fridge Theatre Company

Parker Lavoie

"Lance-Corporal Clive Winton"

I invited five random people to this play from dating apps, told them I’d be late and didn’t tell them I’m on stage.

That’s just the cost of doing business!

Headshot of actor Nicole Bergman from Saskatoon's dinner theatre Mini Fridge Theatre Company

Nicole Bergman

"Ida"

Nicole is excited to finally get out of the house and join the Mini Fridge family this season. When she isn’t parading around as an English maid named Ida, Nicole enjoys time spent with her husband and daughters, gardening in her acreage yard (as long as her hands don’t get dirty), and going to bed early.

Nicole does not enjoy windy days or writing her bio.

Thanks for coming and enjoy the show!

Headshot of actor Sean Kapell from Saskatoon's dinner theatre Mini Fridge Theatre Company

Sean Kapell

"The Reverend Lionel Toop"

Sean has been asked to add sacrilege to his list of other crimes on behalf of Mini Fridge Theatre Company, this time playing the very Reverend Lionel Toop in this hilarious, action-packed production of Philip King’s classic farce!

Headshot of actor Rick Rochon from Saskatoon's dinner theatre Mini Fridge Theatre Company

Rick Rochon

"The Intruder"

WANTED FOR QUESTIONING. DO NOT APPROACH. MAY BE ARMED.

ANY SIGHTINGS SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY REFERRED TO THE LOCAL CONSTABULARY.

.

Headshot of actor Larry Fitzgerald from Saskatoon's dinner theatre Mini Fridge Theatre Company

Larry Fitzgerald

"The Bishop of Lax"

This is Larry’s third role this year playing a cleric, and also (over the last three decades) his third production of See How They Run, in which he has always been one of the men-of-the-cloth, so he is feeling quite sanctimonious.

Rachelle_Kosokowsky

Rachelle Kosokowsky

"Miss Skillon"

Rachelle is happy to be back for another MFT production! She was last seen in Don’t Dress for Dinner, Cookin’ with Gus, Nobody’s Perfect, and other Mini Fridge productions.

Rachelle hopes you enjoy the physicality of this show. As she has zero interest/talent in sports, this is the largest collection of bruises she has ever had to show off. She hopes her wounds bring you many laughs and much joy tonight.

Thank you for supporting local theatre!

Rod Hutchinson

Rod Hutchinson

"The Reverend Arthur Humphreys"

Rod is pleased to be back on stage with Mini Fridge Theatre Company. He was last seen as Donnie in the October 2020 production of Norm Foster’s The Foursome,  and heard as the bingo caller in the December 2021 production of The Queen of Bingo by Jeanne Michels and Phyllis Murphy.

You may or may not have seen him lurking about the theatre since he has also stage managed a handful of shows. He is hoping you will enjoy his portrayal as Rev. Arthur Humphreys as much as he has enjoyed performing it. For some purely coincidental reason, Rod is particularly adept at playing characters who are extremely confused and befuddled.

Stef Putnam

Stef Putnam

"Police Sergeant Towers"

Desperately seeking comrade spy for questioning. Any sightings to be immediately reported directly to Mrs. Putnam aka Sergeant Towers.

Mrs. P can be found at the local constabulary or the local watering hole. It’s recommended to check the watering hole first.

Headshot of actor and director Terry Schroell from Saskatoon's dinner theatre Mini Fridge Theatre Company

Terry Schroell

Director

Hey folks, big hug for all you new folks and a sloppy kiss for all returning. We’ve got a great show for all of you! My biggest cast yet, hence all the new grey hair... grab some libations, buckle up and enjoy.

Thanks for coming!

Headshot of stage manager Krystina Koc from Saskatoon's dinner theatre Mini Fridge Theatre Company

Krystina Koc

Stage Manager

This is Krystina's first show with Mini Fridge Theatre Company. With previous stage management experience, she fit right into the casting group for See How They Run. See this play come to life with the talented actors up on stage and enjoy the show!
