About the show

"Robin Hawdon's latest comedy is ideal fare to cheer us up now the darker nights are here... The sparkling dialogue is guaranteed to ensure the peals of laughter will last through to the end of the run."
— Reading Chronicle

Three couples arrive at a sunlit villa in the south of France, each convinced they’ve booked the same perfect getaway. What begins as a simple mix‑up quickly turns into an evening of shifting alliances, cultural quirks, and good‑natured one‑upmanship as everyone tries to claim the house — or at least the best bedroom.

With wine uncorked, patience thinning, and the Mediterranean evening settling in, the villa becomes a social playground where misunderstandings spark laughter rather than trouble. A Night in Provence is a bright, easygoing vacation comedy filled with personality clashes, warm humour, and the kind of holiday mishaps that are far more fun to watch than to live through.
