"The story hilariously makes light of grossly mistaken identities, extra marital affairs, and life's general chaos. [...] Simply a fun evening of theatre!"
— Melissa Giordano, Broadway World
What could possibly go wrong when a furniture store owner has an affair with the local minister's wife? Well... the situation becomes rather complicated when the minister comes home unexpectedly!
Join us and watch an intricate web of deceit become hilariously exposed as the police, members of the parish, and the women's auxiliary all get involved in the shenanigans!

Meet the cast & crew
Christopher Utigard
"Peter Kramer"
This is Christopher's second production with Mini Fridge Theatre Company, so whatever they're selling might be contagious. His characters routinely suffer from chronic women problems, so it's possible he's already been typecast after such a short time with the company.
He has worked with other theatre groups in the past and even directed one or two aberrations but is particularly thrilled to have stumbled upon MFT. He looks forward to the remainder of this season and hopefully many more seasons to come!
Sarah Wensley
"Diane Gillis"
Sarah wants to share her love of theatre with everyone. Her kindness will always be there to lend a hand. She adores her dogs and appreciates all animals. Her love of music has led her to a wondrous world where she gets lost playing piano and alto saxophone.
But…
Diane has been hesitant to confront the one who needs to know. She needs to face facts. Will she get it out?
Lin Brown
"Monica Lloyd"
Lin is excited to become a part of Mini Fridge Theatre Company. She has previously performed in plays elsewhere and loves becoming other characters. When she’s not performing on stage, she is enjoying time with her children. She also loves to sing and, when she can, is a karaoke queen.
She hopes you love her interpretation of Monica.
Liz Scott
"Caroline Cavanaugh"
Liz is happy to be joining Mini Fridge Theatre Company once again. Playing the part of a character who likes to talk a lot and is easily distracted has been lots of fun to portray (after all, talking is one of Liz’s favourite pastimes).
And the distracted part of her character? Well, that’s been really — “Squirrel!”
Enjoy the show!
Wade Lahoda
"Sheriff Roy Cavanaugh"
Wade is excited to be returning for his second show with Mini Fridge Theatre Company.
This role feels kind of like coming full circle — his first role in a play after university was also as a policeman, and also directed by Mike!
Wade hopes you'll enjoy the show just as much as he's enjoying being in it.
Brennan Risling
"Reverend Lloyd"
Brennan (aka The Riz / aka Major Party) is a man of many personas. In tandem, he is a teacher, musician, writer, reviewer, clinician, public speaker, radio and television host, two-time (TWO-TIME!) Saskatchewan Air Guitar Champion, Music Education masters’ student, and now an actor! Who knew?
Brennan is excited to be in his second season, and third show, with Mini Fridge Theatre Company!
Michael Neuert
Director
Michael has taken this season off as an actor and has put the director's hat on. He was last seen on the MFT stage as Frank in the February 2023 production of Weekend Comedy by Jeanne and Sam Bobrick. Michael directed The Queen of Bingo by Jeanne Michels and Phyllis Murphy two years ago and felt that the dust had cleared away enough to direct once again.
He hopes you enjoy the show.
Christine Unger
Stage Manager
Christine is delighted to be backstage working with a fine group of thespians! She was last on the MFT stage in Norm Foster’s The Ladies Foursome last season and backstage for Paul Slade Smith’s Unnecessary Farce this season. Retired now for a full year, she devotes her time to the theatre and volunteering for Prairie Hospice Society.
Eat well, laugh hard, and enjoy the show!
Dawn Bell
Set Decorator
Dawn is very excited to be trying her hand at set decoration for the first time. She hopes you enjoy the view as well as the acting!
Dawn has appeared onstage for many years with Mini Fridge Theatre Company, Warman Scared Scriptless Players, and Saskatoon Gateway Players.
Alex Phillips
Lights & Sound
Alex is from Tisdale and is currently working his second season at MFT.
