Frequently asked questions
What is the MFT Season Pass?
The MFT Season Pass is a prepaid subscription for the current season, giving you access to all four dinner theatre productions. It allows you to:
- Guarantee your access to the entire season before tickets go on sale to the public
- Request your preferred seats up to 14 days before tickets go on sale to the public
If you attend with a regular group, one person can buy multiple passes and handle all seating requests during pre-sale. This ensures your group is seated together without needing to coordinate individual bookings.
Before visiting the Box Office for MFT Season Passes, decide who in your group will purchase all the passes. Like concert tickets, seats must be booked together to sit together. Individual pass holders who book separately but wish to be seated together may not get adjacent seats due to simultaneous/competing seating requests during pre-sale.
Each MFT Season Pass grants the purchaser attendance and a meal for one person during a single performance at each of the four dinner theatre productions throughout the season. MFT reserves the right to cancel passes and tickets without refund if more seats are requested during pre-sale than were prepaid.
Note: While we do our best to honour seating requests during early access, adjustments may be made to optimize table use and avoid empty seats between groups.
How do I get an MFT Season Pass?
To buy a pass, you’ll need a free MFT account. If you’ve previously purchased through our website, you may already have one. When buying passes, you’ll be prompted to log in or create an account. You’ll also need to log in to make seating and meal selections during pre-sale.
Passes for Season 10 go on sale to the public starting July 14, 2025, and will remain available until sold out or until pre-sale begins for the first show.
To purchase or learn more, call 306-203-4657 or email minifridgetheatre@gmail.com.
How much is the MFT Season Pass?
MFT Season Passes for Season 10 are priced at $290 each (plus applicable fees and taxes) and will provide priority seating request access to all four shows in the current season (regularly priced at $75/ticket)!
Can I buy more than one MFT Season Pass?
Yes! Ideal for groups who want to sit together. As long as all passes are purchased under one name, seats can be booked together during pre-sale.
Note: Most tables seat up to 9, but can be expanded to 10 upon request. Smaller or overflow groups may be seated with others to maximize space.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards and pre-purchased MFT gift certificates.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your card will be charged in full at the time of purchase, whether online or through our Box Office staff.
When will I receive my pass?
Your MFT Season Pass will be emailed to you within 5–10 minutes after your purchase is processed. If you don’t see it, please check your junk or spam folder.
How do I use my pass for priority seating requests?
When pre-sale opens (typically 14 days before public sales), log in to your MFT account via our Box Office page. Select your performance date and enter your meal choices. You must be logged in to access pre-sale and request seats tied to your pass.
Note: Once public sales begin for a show, priority request access ends for that production.
How do I request seats for a group?
If one person bought all the passes, they can request seats for the entire group during pre-sale. If passes are under different names, each person must log in and make their own request. Be sure to mention the group name when booking.
Note: Adjacent seats are not guaranteed if requests are made separately. To ensure your group is seated together, we strongly recommend having one person purchase all passes and make the seating requests.
Can I change my booking to a different date?
Yes, changes (including meal selections and dietary requests) can be made up to 72 hours before the performance. After that, changes cannot be accommodated due to catering deadlines.
If the Box Office is already open to the public, your priority seating may no longer be guaranteed, though we’ll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.
Can I cancel my pass?
Yes. Refunds are available at any time during the season, except within 72 hours of a scheduled performance. Refunds will be adjusted to reflect any shows already attended and do not include processing fees.
To request a refund, email minifridgetheatre@gmail.com and include your original confirmation email.
Note: Refunds or rainchecks will not be issued for unused passes if no seating or meal request was made either before the sales period closed for a performance or by the end of the season.
Can I transfer my pass to someone else?
Yes. Passes can be transferred to another person, provided they meet the legal age requirement for licensed events. However, reselling passes for profit is strictly prohibited and will result in cancellation without refund.
Can someone without a pass sit with us?
Possibly. Requests to seat non-pass holders with pass holders will only be considered after pre-sale ends and are subject to availability.
Pass holders may not use early access to reserve seats for non-pass holders. Any tickets purchased during pre-sale without a valid pass may be voided, and the associated pass may be revoked without refund.
If someone without a pass wants to sit with your group, they should mention your group name when booking. While we’ll try to accommodate, priority will always be given to pass holders, and seating is subject to space and availability.
How do I get my tickets?
Tickets are available only on the Mini Fridge Theatre Company website. No need to print — just show your ticket on your phone (or bring a printed copy if you prefer).
Didn’t get a confirmation email?
Check your spam or junk folder — our emails can be sneaky.
Can I give my ticket to someone else?
Absolutely! Just notify the box office at least 3 days before the show.
⚠️ A few rules:
• No meal changes within 72 hours (our caterer needs prep time).
• Tickets can’t be resold for profit — we’re theatre, not scalpers.
• No transferring to minors for licensed events where they’re not allowed.
Can I attend just the show without dinner?
Not at this time — it’s a dinner-and-show experience. Like PB&J, they’re better together.
When should I arrive?
Doors open at the time on your ticket (usually 5:30 PM), with dinner at 6 PM. You may wait 5–10 minutes to be seated — bring patience and maybe a good joke!
Why do tickets cost what they do?
Your ticket supports:
• Venue and rehearsal space
• Performance rights and insurance
• Catering
• Sets, props, and costumes
• Promotion and website
• And most importantly — paying our talented team!
Every dollar helps keep the fridge running and the theatre magic alive. Mini Fridge Theatre Company is proud to be part of the vibrant Saskatoon live entertainment scene, offering one of the most unique dinner theatre experiences in the city.

Is alcohol served
Yes! We’re licensed — enjoy wine, beer, or cocktails. All guests must be 19+ (no exceptions).
What kind of food is served at evening performances?
A multi-course meal from our local caterer — hearty mains, fresh salads, and show-stopping desserts. Perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner theatre date in Saskatoon.
Q: Are Sunday matinées really back? With a buffet?! What time?
A: Oui oui! Sunday matinées are returning to Mini Fridge Theatre for the first time since our Saskatoon German Cultural Centre days — and yes, the buffet is back too. Each show in our 10th season includes one special matinée performance with a buffet meal. No need to pre-select your entrée — just come hungry and enjoy live theatre with a side of comfort food. Doors open at noon on indicated matinée dates. The buffet opens at 12:30pm, with the show to follow.
Q: How is the matinée meal different from the evening shows?
A: Evening performances include plated dinner service with meal choices made when you book online. Sunday matinées are buffet-style — a relaxed, help-yourself experience that brings back the vibe of our earlier Saskatoon dinner theatre days.
Q: Will the brunch buffet menu change throughout the season?
A: We’re keeping it classic! The matinée buffet will feature the same delicious selection at each performance — a thoughtfully curated spread of crowd-pleasing favourites designed to complement the cozy, nostalgic vibe of our Sunday shows. It’s a consistent comfort you can count on, whether you’re joining us for your first matinée or coming back for seconds!
Q: I have dietary restrictions. Will I be OK at the matinée buffet?
A: We’ll have gluten-free options available. Vegetarian options may not be guaranteed at matinées. Unlike our evening shows, we may not be able to accommodate all special meal requests — but we’ll do our best. Please note any allergies or preferences on the order form. If we can’t accommodate something, we’ll contact you.
Q: What’s the price for a Sunday matinée ticket?
A: The same as our evening shows — with a full buffet and a live matinée performance included. It’s a great way to enjoy Saskatoon theatre and a hearty meal, all before supper time.
Do you accommodate dietary needs?
Yes! Let us know when booking. We offer vegetarian and allergy-friendly options for most performances.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No outside food or beverages allowed — our team’s got you covered.
Can I leave and come back during the show?
Yes, but re-entry may be delayed. To minimize disruptions, latecomers or those who step out may need to wait for a break or intermission to return.
How long is the show? Is there an intermission?
Most shows run 90 minutes to 2 hours with a 15-minute intermission — just enough time to stretch, grab a drink, and debate your favourite character. Doors open about 90 minutes before showtime so you can enjoy your meal first.
Can I take photos or videos during the show?
No recording or photography during performances — it helps us respect licensing and keeps the experience immersive. Unauthorized recordings may be confiscated. Save the selfies for before or after!
What payment methods do you accept?

• <24 hours: No refund unless the show is cancelled or changed
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms — thanks for understanding!
