— FIRST TIME PERFORMED IN CANADA! —
When Nick's food starts disappearing from his apartment fridge, he immediately suspects his best friend Milo, a bumbling magician who lives down the hall. But Milo refuses to confess, so Nick installs a camera to catch the culprit in the act — and finds an unlikely trespasser has been secretly living in his apartment for nearly a month. When the video hits the internet, the surprises multiply in this romantic comedy about magic, misunderstanding, and running out of milk.

Meet the cast & crew
Hayley Meyer
"Marnie"
Having started acting on stage in 2009 and, after taking a (almost decade-long) hiatus, this is Hayley's first production with Mini Fridge Theatre Company. For the first time since high school, she returned to theatre virtually in 2020 and has been excited to be back acting and on stage!
Hayley is currently pursuing a graduate degree full time and spent the summer in New York taking classes and watching as many Broadway productions as she could fit in. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her dogs, listening to Taylor Swift's discography, and watching Marvel.
Tyler Campbell
"Nick"
Tyler is thrilled to be in his first ever production with Mini Fridge Theatre Company. He’s glad to be in his hometown performing once again and hopes to bring some hope and holiday cheer to Saskatoon this season.
Enjoy!
Mark Reimer
"Milo"
Mark is playing magician Milo Spognardi. His latest escape act harnesses the power of quantum tunneling, which gives any confined particle a small but nonzero chance of vanishing from its confines and reappearing anywhere in the universe. Sadly, due to the quantum nature of this feat of escapology, Mark can only accomplish it if he is not being observed.
When performing before an audience, Mark's impossible feats are largely restricted to making a fool of himself.
Mikala Henderson
"Jessica"
Mikala Henderson is proud to be part of another Mini Fridge Theatre Company show as Jessica. She's happy to be working with new faces and MFT friends as she expands her acting experience.
Cherese Reemaul
"Alex"
All of life is a stage … and it’s convenient that Mini Fridge Theatre Company is just across the parking lot from where Cherese lives in (debatably beautiful) downtown Saskatoon, where walking to rehearsals is convenient and walking to the regular day job is (also debatably … in the winter) convenient.
Here’s to the stage! And community! And fun!
Krystina Koc
"Rosa"
This is Krystina’s second show with Mini Fridge Theatre Company. She had such a great time stage managing See How They Run that she just had to stay on board with the December show.
She hopes that you enjoy the latest production so much that you come back for more!
Elizabeth Reynolds
Director
Liz Reynolds hopped between working in theatre and education several times before she was given the great honour of being the principal of Allegro Montessori School. Now she works in education by day and Mini Fridge Theatre Company graciously allows her to feed her theatre addiction by night.
She loves directing. To take the audience out of their world and into another reality for two hours is a heady thing. She hopes you enjoy tonight’s journey to another reality.
Rod Hutchinson
Stage Manager
Rod is no stranger to Mini Fridge Theatre Company. With several previous MFT productions under his belt — both on stage and off — Rod is happy to support behind the scenes shenanigans at Aboveboard.
