Season 4 at Mini Fridge Theatre Company: A season of detours, determination and dinner theatre delight
Mini Fridge Theatre Company’s 2019–20 season began with a bang and ended with a pivot. What started as a lively lineup at the Saskatoon German Cultural Centre was soon interrupted by the global pandemic. But in true theatrical fashion, the show found a way to go on—eventually wrapping up with a rescheduled and reimagined production at a brand-new venue, St. John’s Anglican Hall, complete with safety measures and a whole lot of heart.
This season was a testament to the power of community, creativity and comedy in uncertain times. Even with delays and disruptions, audiences were treated to the kind of laugh-out-loud entertainment and shared experience that only live dinner theatre can deliver. It was a season of resilience, reinvention and a reminder that laughter is always worth waiting for.
